Can’t see your question here? Give us a ring and the team will help.
So which is the best Indian restaurant in Chichester?
It comes down to taste, but if reviews are a guide, Prachee is near the top. Diners give us 4.7 stars on Google across 199 reviews and 4.8 on Tripadvisor, and they mostly single out the warm welcome, generous portions and our tandoori grills.
What should I order on my first visit?
Start with the tandoori lamb chops or king prawn tandoori, and ask for the house chilli sauce with your poppadoms. For a main, regulars rate the jalfrezi, the chicken korai and the wild lemon lamb. Portions are generous, so it’s worth sharing a starter.
How far is Prachee from Chichester city centre?
We’re in the village of Westergate, a short drive east of the city centre. Most guests come in along the A27, and there’s free parking when you arrive.
Is Prachee good for a special occasion?
Very. Birthdays, anniversaries and work dos are a big part of what we do. Let us know when you book and we’ll help you plan the table, the menu and the timing.
Is the restaurant licensed?
Yes. We have a fully stocked bar, and our cocktails and mocktails get a mention in plenty of reviews.
I'm vegetarian. Will I find enough to eat?
Plenty. Saag paneer, chana paneer, aloo gobi, Bombay potatoes, mushroom bhaji and a vegetable biryani are all on the menu, and any vegetable side can be served as a main portion. Ask about vegan swaps when you order.
Can I get a takeaway near Chichester?
Yes. Collect from us in Westergate and you’ll get 10% off any takeaway order over £20. Order online or ring 01243 345298. Delivery is on its way.
I have a food allergy. Can you help?
Please mention it before you order. Our team will tell you exactly what goes into each dish and which ones the kitchen can adapt for you.
Allergies: nuts, shellfish, gluten, dairy and many other allergens are handled in our kitchen, so traces can’t be ruled out in any dish. Always tell us about an allergy or intolerance when you book or order.
